Every Morning

Every morning when I want to leave for work, my wife Gisèle always reminds me of something I've forgotten, sometimes the house keys, sometimes the car keys, often my mobile phone, the charger, sometimes documents, and she always finds an opportunity to tease me with comments like you're starting to get old, and losing your memory...

That being said, I decided to put an end to these sarcasms, and no longer give my wife the chance to mock me.
So I took a sheet of paper, where I noted everything I usually forget before leaving the house to go to work.
In short, when I woke up in the morning, I took this sheet, and I started checking off everything I need to take with me.
Thus, I smiled while savoring my little victory...
Once behind the wheel of my car my wife calls me, I confidently and defiantly replied:
_ Don't try! I have absolutely forgotten nothing today

She replied laughing: Jean-Paul, Come back home, TODAY IS SUNDAY...!
