Years ago, I started a business related to search products and accidentally came across the concept of the semantic web (I bought a few books that I still haven't been able to throw away). At that time, it was called web 3.0. It's been over a decade since the idea of web 3.0 emerged, and the concept has been constantly changing (Gavin Wood proposed a new concept of web 3 for the second time), but it has not been realized. Now, agents and MCPs are very popular. Looking back at the books on the semantic web that I bought more than a decade ago, both agents and MCPs feel familiar. These things have only changed in concept, and technology has progressed. But their origins go back a long time as well.
