According to yesterday's tweet from @VaderResearch, it feels like this time the VADER Yapping update is for real. Speaking from my personal data, when the scores were released last night, something felt off. Normally, just casually writing about my Vader Yapping scores would typically yield around 1-2000. However, yesterday it was only 700, and I was preparing to 'protest' the algorithm again today. Unexpectedly, last night's tweet provided clarification. The implication is that today’s submission is merely the score from staking $VADER, and the remaining Yapping scores will be compensated today.

Additionally, penalties for maliciously manipulating VADER Yapping scores have been announced, with clear stipulations that 'witch hunts' and 'suspensions' will last for a month. This is a long-anticipated change for everyone, especially after seeing no changes in yesterday’s published leaderboard, where everyone hopes to act rather than just talk. While there is no absolute fairness, wouldn't we still want to pursue relative fairness?

Regarding the halt in rating updates, my personal view is that it seems quite reasonable. The positioning of the VADER project itself needs to be clear; you cannot be both the project party of @Vader_AI_ and a critical KOL at the same time. The direction of public opinion's success or failure lies in one's own hands. From previous conflicts and arguments to the downgrading of ratings, it's hard to say there are no subjective intentions at play; at least from our perspective, it feels quite abstract. How should we understand ratings? Is it guidance from the project side or just hasty comments from KOLs? Even the currently highest-rated IRIS, with users staking for 180 days, finds it difficult. In the pursuit of loyalty and profit, I believe most people's original intention and goal lean towards the latter.

所谓忠诚是大家可以一起陪着你去Building，而不是成为你的工具。很多时候带有主观色彩的评级，可能从一开始就把一些项目扼杀在了摇篮。毕竟用户也不是傻子，对于项目的投入最直接的还是看分/U比。投入产出折合一分多少钱。有的一些高评级项目并未带来高收益。咋加上之前分数分配不均，导致的巨额砸盘，让收益变得更低。希望改动后能让一直Building的用户收益，这才是社区的心声。
