BTCS raises total ETH holdings to 70,028, worth 270 million USD!
BTCS Inc. has just announced the purchase of an additional 14,240 ETH worth 55 million USD, bringing the total Ethereum holdings to an impressive 70,028 ETH. With a reference price of ETH at 3,850 USD, BTCS's Ethereum treasury is now approximately valued at 270 million USD.
Ambitious ETH treasury expansion strategy
This move follows the acquisition of 29,122 ETH (87 million USD) by #BTCS in mid-July, causing BTCS shares to surge. The company has also successfully issued a 10 million USD convertible bond and sold over 271,000 shares to raise capital. Since the beginning of 2025, BTCS has raised a total of 207 million USD through various channels, applying the "DeFi/TradFi Accretion Flywheel" model to flexibly increase Ethereum assets and expand validator operations.
This is part of a larger trend as organizations are focusing their attention on Ethereum. Many public companies like BitMine, SharpLink Gaming, and ETH ETF funds have also noted significant inflows. Immediately following the news of an additional purchase by $ETH , BTCS shares rose by 8.5% in pre-market trading and increased by 131% in just the last month, indicating strong market confidence in BTCS's strategy and potential alongside Ethereum.
