In 2025, privacy emerged as the defining trend for the future of digital assets as one truth became clear: privacy is non-negotiable.
Privacy is Non-negotiable for institutions, enterprises, and real-world assets to move on-chain. Privacy is also becoming non-negotiable for citizens, payments, voting, and protecting our data and private lives, as the real-world and digital world merge due to the rise of AI.

In 2025, while the privacy trend took off, COTI was first to market. Today, COTI is fully operational, and powering privacy for DEXs, dApps, and real-word use cases. Here’s a recap:

COTI’s advanced privacy Layer 2 launched on mainnet in March, introducing the first on-chain implementation of Garbled Circuits, and built out its infrastructure:

Now that we’ve proved privacy is the future, 2026 is about scaling it into that future. So what’s next for COTI?
1. Privacy-on-Demand Across Blockchains, including Major Partnerships
In 2026, we’re on a mission to bring COTI’s V2 Garbled Circuits privacy stack to leading blockchains across the ecosystem. Including 3-major partnerships with leading chains.
Our goal is to make COTI the universal privacy layer, interoperable, composable, and chain-agnostic, opening access to developers across all of Web3. We’ll measure this by the amount of cross-chain integrations, users transacting on the network and apps built with our privacy stack.
Through Privacy-on-Demand, we plan to scale COTI to other leading blockchains, serving as a Private Backend service to enable privacy and confidentiality into any app or blockchain.
Why this matters: By scaling our privacy stack and token across multiple blockchains, it gives us leverage to create exponential growth of COTI’s chain, tech, and activity.
2. Leader in Private-DeFi and DEX Volume

In 2026 we aim to lead the blockchain ecosystem in terms of private-DeFi and DEX activity, measured by real on-chain volume.
To achieve this, we’ll leverage our partners VeilDex, Bancor, and PriveX. In 2025, PriveX, the perpetual DEX built on COTI, surpassed $250M in daily volume, and with the recent launch of AI agents, is set to continue to new ATHs in 2026.

3. Integrate with RWA Infrastructure to Unlock the $30-Trillion Market
Total Global On-chain RWA Market Value
The Real-World Asset (RWA) market is projected to hit $30T by 2030, yet only $320-billion is currently on-chain. Institutions cannot, and will not, move this value on-chain using fully-transparent ledgers.
In 2026 COTI will partner and integrate privacy with a leading RWA infrastructure provider. By providing the regulated, private, and compliant needs for institutions, we intend to open the flood gate to this $30T RWA market.
Why this matters: Our goal is to launch the world’s first private RWA asset in Web3 on top of COTI.
4. Launch Node V2 Ecosystem for the Community
In 2026, we will launch our Nodes V2 Ecosystem, giving anyone the ability to easily deploy and run nodes on COTI. Enabling 1000s of community-run nodes to power private computation.

5. Launch New and Improved Treasury, Powered by Node Operators
With Node V2 live, COTI will roll out a major upgrade to Treasury. Transitioning it toward a decentralized model operated by node operators and governed by the community.
This upgrade will:
Strengthen governance through gCOTI and voting
Improve stability, fix issues, and improve user experience
Align incentives between operators, builders, and holders
Why this matters: We’ll be rolling out a more stable, flexible and decentralized Treasury System, making it easier and more rewarding than ever to stake COTI. With the aim to break all-time % of COTI staked, reducing supply.
6. Performance Leader: The Fastest and Lightest Privacy Stack in Web3
