BlockBeats News, January 7th, Fusion releases security update: Arbitrum Network USDC Fusion Optimizer Treasury Hacked, IPOR team was notified on January 6th that they discovered a vulnerability leading to a $336,000 USDC loss. The exploit targeted a specific old version of the Fusion Vault. Due to its unique configuration, this was the only vault susceptible to this particular attack vector. The loss represents less than 1% of Fusion's total insured funds. They are working with the Security Alliance to track and recover the funds. The IPOR DAO will cover the fund shortfall from the treasury. All affected depositors will be fully reimbursed.
