Ethereum developers have finalized the second and last Blob Parameters Only (BPO) fork in the Fusaka upgrade cycle, increasing the blob limits per block. This adjustment enhances data availability for Layer 2 Rollups by raising blobs per block from 10 to 14 and the upper limit from 15 to 21. The BPO mechanism allows Ethereum to flexibly fine-tune network parameters in phases, improving Rollup transaction cost stability amid growing activity.
