The French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) reports that nearly one-third of crypto firms in France without European Union licenses have yet to declare their licensing intentions amid the MiCA regulatory transition. Of approximately 90 such firms, 30% have applied for licenses, 40% have decided against applying, and 30% remain undecided. The regulatory transition period ends on June 30, after which unlicensed companies must follow an orderly exit plan as mandated by ESMA.
