A recent address poisoning attack led to the loss of 509,000 USDT when a victim accidentally sent funds to a maliciously designed address. The attacker exploited the similarity between two addresses, causing the victim to mistake the attacker's address for the intended recipient. Prior to this major loss, the victim had already sent 5,000 USDT to the attacker's address.
