A scammer posing as Coinbase support has deceived crypto traders out of more than $2 million by tricking them into approving wallet transfers. The fraudster, linked to a Canadian known as 'Haby' or 'Havard,' laundered the stolen funds through multiple wallets and exchanges to hide the money trail. Public social media posts and operational errors helped blockchain investigator ZachXBT connect the suspect's real-life activity with the on-chain thefts, including thefts of XRP worth tens of thousands of dollars.
