Hey crypto fam how you doing it Crypto Man MAB diving back into the Sui ecosystem once again as things are heating up massive. And in case you have not heard, Walrus is this killer decentralized storage protocol by the Mysten Labs people who created Sui. It is not a storage thing it is programmable super cheap and ideal with big files such as videos images AI datasets and all that. Lasting an entire year, Mainnet kicked off again in March of 2025, and already, there are multiple projects that are leaping on it to create NFTs AI media you name it. Here is my list of the best 10 projects currently under construction on Walrus, which are actually doing interesting things. Others are alive some in dev but all promising real promise. Lets go!

Talus AI - This is massive AI enthusiastic. The talentis developing autonimous AIs and they keep Walrus as the storage place where they retrieve and process data entirely onchain. No longer offchain servers all smooth and verifiable. Their CEO even screamed how Walrus allows devs to scale AI agents to insanity. The ideal scenario of AI + blockchain fusion.

Itheum - Data tokenization pros is a company that works with Walrus to process real world data. They emblematize things and require concrete storage thereof Walrus fits in perfectly. It is all about establishing data market in the age of AI, and Walrus provides that decentralized base.

Tusky - The decentralized privacy focused Dropbox. Tusky lets you go into Walrus and upload files so simply to use them as assets on NFTs websites or whatever. Makes it so easy to the users who would wish to have secure storage without the trouble. Great for NFTs especially.

Walrus Sites - All right this is right out of the team but it is dope. Walrus Sites is an open-source project that allows you to create fully decentralized websites and frontends on Walrus with reference to Sui objects such as NFTs. Whether it is dApp or NFT gallery hosting, can you imagine it without AWS or something centralized? They even give examples of such as Flatland NFTs whose entire site is on Walrus.

Decrypt (or Decryp Web3 media) - This is a Web3 media company that uploads articles videos and content to Walrus. No longer the use of the traditional servers all decentralized and permanent. Massive in terms of storage of media and it may alter the mode of operation of crypto news websites.

3DOS - These are global 3D printers that use Walrus to store data. They work with large files such as 3D models and require a solid decentralized access. Shows Walrus does not only work with crypto in real world activities such as manufacturing.

Baselight - Their data management layer is Walrus and is permissionless. CEO indicated that it assists them directly in trading and securing data. Connections to AI and big data market.

Hyvve (hackathons) - Decentralized marketplace of AI data on Sui with Walrus. Users are driven to start data campaigns to reward contributors and work on multi-agent stuff with datasets. Merely genius in AI training onchain.

OpenGraph - This is a model that bridges Web2 MLs to onchain with Walrus storing model weights and training data. Makes it cheap and safe to do AI inference on Sui. Massive potential of physical AI and physical workloads.

Galliun - A Web3 creator hub where creators share links receive tips run crowdfunds all onchain profiles. They use Walrus as a place to store media and content and thus make it dynamic and user owned.

Bonus mentions all the between of it: There are winners of hackathons and explorers such as the ones building payments wallets or even DA layers on rollups. Walrus is also chain agnostic and as such, ETH or Solana projects can be plugged in but Sui ones are dominating.

Why does this matter? Walrus resolves the big problem with Web3 storage: it is costly and unreliable or centralized. The programmable blobs are cheap (less expensive than Filecoin) and its replication can be 4-5 times, which is designed to support NFTs rich media AI dataset full sites. Sui ecosystem is bursting and Walrus is in the centre driving the next wave.

What do you think is the most upside-oriented one? Drop comments will tell me whether I have left any projects unbuilt on it. DYOR of course but this space is quickly moving in 2026. Stay tuned for more Sui gems!
