Confidential Security Contracts (XSC) – Deep Dive

XSCs are Dusk’s native tokenization standard.

What Makes XSC Different?

Ownership balances are encrypted

Transfers require cryptographic proofs, not public data

Only authorized parties can hold or move tokens

Regulators can be granted selective visibility

Built-in Rules

XSCs can enforce:

Investor eligibility (retail vs institutional)

Transfer limits

Lock-up periods

Dividend logic

Corporate actions (splits, buybacks)

👉 These rules cannot be bypassed, even by contract deployers.
