The precious metals market is under heavy pressure again, and this time the scale of the damage is hard to ignore.
In just 36 hours, roughly $7 trillion in value has been wiped out across the complex. To put that into perspective, that’s equivalent to watching the entire crypto market evaporate — not once, but more than twice over. Moves of this magnitude are not normal corrections. They signal forced repositioning, liquidation, and stress beneath the surface.
Across the board, prices are breaking down simultaneously.
Gold has fallen sharply, sliding about 13.6% and losing the $4,900 level. Silver has taken an even harder hit, plunging roughly 30% below $85. Platinum has dropped 27.25%, falling under $2,100, while palladium has shed 21.5%, breaking below $1,700.
This is not isolated weakness. It’s a broad, synchronized sell-off across the entire precious metals space.
