Overview of the U.S. presidential election process for those who may not understand:
1. 06/11/24 to 11/11/24: Voters in the states go to vote, then the states will count the votes to determine which candidate the state's electoral votes belong to (for example, California has 54 electoral votes, if Trump wins in California, he will receive all 54 electoral votes).
2. 07/12/2024 States count the electoral votes and then send them to the capital, Washington D.C.
3. 06/01/2025 Congress conducts the counting of the electoral votes, with the incumbent vice president presiding.
4. 20/01/2025 The incumbent president is sworn in.
So, from the 6th to the 11th of this month, we will almost have preliminary results of this election with the winning side leaning towards the one with more electoral votes. By 07/12, after eliminating invalid votes, we will have the official results.
Winning in November is like stepping one foot into the presidency, and by December, it is 100% certain, but as seen in the last election, where dead people even voted for Biden, nothing is impossible. Let's wait.
