đš WARNING TO ALL CRYPTO TRADERS đš
The so-called Cristiano Ronaldo memecoin $CR7 just rug pulled â and itâs a textbook example of how hype can blind the market.
There has been no official announcement from Cristiano Ronaldo or his team regarding the launch of any memecoin bearing his name, such as "$CR7". These were baseless rumors with no legitimate backing.
Hereâs how the scam worked:
1ïžâŁ A fake token named $CR7 launched on Solana, falsely promoted as Ronaldoâs "official" memecoin.
2ïžâŁ Influencers were paid (or complicit) to hype it across X (Twitter), labeling it as legit.
3ïžâŁ Once the hype peaked, two sniper wallets bought up massive supplies of the token at launch.
4ïžâŁ Those wallets dumped the tokens seconds later â making over 85 SOL in total profits.
5ïžâŁ The deployer then drained 97% of the liquidity, wiping out over $375,000+ from unsuspecting buyers.
6ïžâŁ All promotional tweets were deleted. No accountability. No refunds. No Ronaldo.
â ïž Important Notes:
âą Cristiano Ronaldo had no connection whatsoever to this project.
âą It was a coordinated rug pull using fake branding and manipulated hype.
đĄ Lesson:
âïž Always verify token contracts
âïž Track wallets before entering
âïž Don't trust hype â even if celebrity names are attached
Stay sharp. Donât let fake fame steal your funds. đĄïž
