Today I reviewed my XPL/USDT spot trading activity and it reminded me how important timing and discipline are in crypto trading. I executed a market buy of 4,944.7 XPL at an average price of 0.0833 USDT, which shows my confidence in entering the position during short-term price stability. Shortly after, I attempted to place a limit sell order at 0.084 USDT for 4,939.8 XPL, aiming for a small but calculated profit margin of roughly 0.8%–1%. However, the order was canceled before execution due to market movement and changing momentum.
From my trading data today, I can see that entry execution was efficient, but exit timing needs improvement. The market volume for XPL remained moderate, and price volatility stayed within a narrow range, suggesting consolidation rather than breakout conditions.
As a trader, I’m learning to focus more on market structure, liquidity zones, and patience, instead of rushing to secure small gains. Every trade — win or cancel — strengthens my strategy and emotional control in the long run.
