XRP Ledger activated XLS-81 "Permissioned DEX" – a gated exchange where only approved institutions (banks/brokers) can trade .

It keeps the speed of a normal DEX but adds KYC/AML compliance layers . This is a members-only club for TradFi giants .

They also added XLS-85 Token Escrow for settling tokenized assets like stablecoins .
