Vitalik just said he’s building a more “cypherpunk-principled” version of Ethereum. Not replacing it. Not burning it down. More like… upgrading the soul of it.

He wants $ETH to be harder to censor. More zk-friendly. Leaner consensus. Less fluff, more backbone.

And here’s the wild part — he thinks within five years, maybe even sooner with AI pushing things faster than we expect, Ethereum could migrate to a new system language. That’s not a small tweak. That’s deep surgery. State tree changes. Consensus redesign. ZK-EVM verification upgrades. Even the VM itself.

Some people will see vision. Others will see risk. Big shifts always split the room.
