đ· TULIP MANIA â THE FIRST MARKET BUBBLE "REAL STORY" đ«
Back in the 1600s, people didnât just see tulips as flowers â they became luxury symbols. Their rare colors and beauty made demand skyrocket. Suddenly, everyone wanted one:
Speculation began. People took loans to buy tulips, started future trading, and the craze turned into a full-blown mania. Everyone thought:
"If I buy this tulip today, tomorrow someone will pay me double!"
đ The hype was insane. A rare tulip, Semper Augustus, sold for around 5,000 florins â while a skilled worker earned just 300 florins a year. In other words, two tulips could buy an entire house in Amsterdam!
In 1637, a charity auction in Haarlem shocked everyone: almost no traders showed up. Panic spread:
"If nobodyâs buying⊠who will we sell to?"
The bubble burst. Prices crashed. Many lost their life savings overnight.
đĄ Lesson: Market = Fear + Greed
When everyone screams âBUY!â, the top is usually near.
When everyone says âMarket is deadâ, thatâs often the best entry.
Smart crypto traders still use the Fear & Greed Index today:
â ïž Greed High â Sell / Take Profit
đš Fear High â Buy / Accumulate
