French cryptocurrency tax platform Waltio suffered a cyberattack by the hacker group 'Shiny Hunters,' which claims to have accessed personal data of around 50,000 users. The attackers are demanding a ransom, and Waltio has reported the incident to the police. The compromised data reportedly includes client emails and account balances dating back to 2024.
