#walrus $WAL
A walrus is a large marine mammal that lives in the cold Arctic regions. It is easily recognized by its long tusks, thick whiskers, and wrinkled brown skin. Walruses use their tusks to pull themselves onto ice and to defend against predators. They spend much of their time resting on sea ice or beaches in large groups. Walruses mainly feed on clams and other small sea creatures, using their sensitive whiskers to find food on the ocean floor. These animals play an important role in the Arctic ecosystem.
