What are trendlines? Trendlines are the foundation of technical analysis, they represent the direction and speed of a specific trend. There are two types of trendlines: 1: Bullish trendline connecting the HL’s,
2: The Bearish trendline connecting the LH’s.
How To Draw A Trendline: A trendline is drawn by connecting atleast two HL’s or LH’s, or atleast 3 clean touches and alignment with clean market structure. A valid trendline requires a minimum of three clean touches and alignment with clear market structure (HH/HL or LH/LL).
There are different categories of Trendlines: 1: Flat trendlines: (less reliable, weak momentum) 2: Steep trendline: (aggressive move) 3: Structure aligned trendlines: most reliable Trendlines can be traded using two primary strategies: 1:Bounce: Identify a valid trendline aligned with the market structure, we can anticipate and wait for the price to revisit the trendline, from where it will bounce back, and take entry on that direction.
Do not enter blindly, wait for confirmation candles to enter the trade. 2: Break and Retest: Mark a valid trendline and wait for a decisive break supported by strong candle closes. Avoid reacting to weak or indecisive breaks. After the breakout, wait for price to retest the broken trendline and show rejection before entering. This approach is typically used for potential trend reversals or continuation shifts. And the take profits can be marked by using the areas of support or resistance.
Risk Management: Beginners should risk no more than 1–2% of total capital per trade. Combine trendlines with volume, liquidity zones and HTFs. #technicalanalyst #EducationalContent #breakouts #BTC
What is Liquidity💧? - Price moves towards liquidity not randomly. - Stops above equal highs and lows are target. - Most breakouts are liquidity grabs. - Trade after the sweep, not before it. #Liquidations #EducationalContent #liquidity
US stock futures are slightly down because the Federal Reserve is signaling interest rates may stay high for longer, and oil prices are rising — which pushes borrowing costs up
Bank and tech stocks are falling due to higher rates, and Walmart dropped 2% even though it reported good earnings. #BTC #FOMC
Fvg formed on $SUI 4 hours timeframe around $1.03 - $1.02 which acted as resistance. Confirming bearish control, as proce previously rejected sharply. Also forming a double top.
Trade target plan was when price again retested the same FVG and formed a similar reaction on 1 hour time frame. With liquidity sweep.
On $SUI 15 min time frame entry was executed by a doji candle followed by a red inverted hammer bearish reversal.
Outcome: price respected the FVG as resistance, validating the analysis leading to a profitable downside move. #FVG combined with multi-timeframe (4hr + 15min) can predict high probability trades. Tp1: 0.9575 Tp2: 0.9270 Tp3: 0.8825 #SUİ #analysis #strategy
BlackRock’s Rober Mitchnick says $BTC is still fundamentally strong, but high leverage trading is making it behave like a risky tech stock instead of a stable hedge.
Why this setup? 4H setup signals SHORT. Daily trend is bearish, but RSI on lower timeframes shows a minor bounce. Key resistance at the entry high of 0.9269. A break below the entry low of 0.9202 could accelerate the move toward TP1 at 0.9034.
Debate: Is this just a bear trap before a reversal, or is the real flush down to TP2 coming?
