🇦🇪 Abu Dhabi Didn’t Panic — They Bought $1 BILLION $BTC 🇦🇪
While most retail was confused and reacting to short term volatility, Abu Dhabi sovereign investors quietly built over $1.04 billion exposure in spot BTC ETFs.
Mubadala Investment Company alone holds around $630.7 million in BlackRock’s iShares BTC ETF, and another Abu Dhabi sovereign entity added about $408 million, bringing total exposure to roughly 20.9 million ETF shares. This is not small allocation. This is government level capital entering BTC.
What makes this important is the timing. This accumulation happened while BTC was moving in unstable range and market sentiment was weak. Retail activity slowed down, but sovereign funds used this phase to increase exposure instead of waiting for higher prices.
Sovereign funds dont operate like retail. They dont chase green candles. They accumulate during uncertainty and hold for long term positioning.
