United Kingdom has reportedly declined a U.S. request to use its bases for potential strikes against Iran.
U.S. military planners had considered using facilities on Diego Garcia and in Gloucestershire, where American heavy bombers are stationed. However, the British government has not approved the operation, citing concerns over possible violations of international law.
According to Sky News, “The United Kingdom is not currently preparing to support the United States in any military operation against Iran.”
