What I Notice
He's learning design software. Understanding customers. Managing money.
More practical skills than most school projects teach.
His confidence grew. Proud of earning his own money.

Parent Reality Check
Is it safe? Seems fine. No predatory stuff I found.
Educational? Actually yes. Real business skills.
Too much screen time? Yes. But he's creating, not just consuming.

Tested Fogo For 3 Days - Here's The Reality
I'm skeptical of new blockchains. But developers kept mentioning Fogo, so I tested it.
What I Did
Deployed simple smart contract. Ran 50 test transactions. Measured everything.
The Results
Contract deployment:
Time: 0.8 seconds
Cost: $0.0002
50 transactions:
Average speed: 0.4 seconds each
Total cost: $0.01
For reference, same thing on Ethereum would cost $200-400.
The speed and fee claims? Actually true.
The Problems
Small ecosystem. Few apps built on it yet.
New project = security risks.
Documentation has gaps. Needed Discord help multiple times.
Unclear advantage over Solana itself.
Honest Take
Technology works as advertised. Fast and cheap are real.
But ecosystem tiny. Adoption uncertain. New = risky.
Good for testing weekend projects. Not ready for serious production yet.
