It is a massive reality check for the whole industry. Even though it is a sad day for the workers, the stock market actually loved the news and the company’s share price jumped 25% because investors think it makes the business more "efficient." This really shows that in 2026, AI isn't just a fun tool anymore; it is becoming the main engine for how big companies run.
