The biggest lesson I learned when investing in Bitcoin 📈
I learned about Bitcoin during a fairly normal phase of life, when everything around me was still happening as usual. Without deep financial knowledge or understanding of technology, I turned to Bitcoin out of curiosity. Seeing many people talk about it, some making money and others failing, I simply thought I would try participating to understand better.
In the early days of entering the market, I shared the mindset of many newcomers: a desire for quick results. Each time Bitcoin rose in price, I felt excited and confident in my decisions. Conversely, when prices fell, I began to worry, even doubting myself. There were times when I constantly checked prices throughout the day, letting my emotions be influenced by small fluctuations. I bought because I feared missing out on opportunities and sold just to feel more secure, even though I knew that decision might not be correct.
Recently, on-chain BTC data reflects a highly polarized market between large and small investors: Whales and 'smart money' are accumulating strongly: data from Santiment shows that large wallets have accumulated over 3.2 billion USD in BTC in just 9 days, even as prices adjusted. This indicates that buying pressure from institutional investors remains very strong, while retail investors tend to sell.
