One of the useful parameters in the futures market that I try to monitor regularly is related to funding #FundingRates

We all know how unpleasant it can be to discover that after opening a short sale, the exchange has raised the commission fees to a maximum of 2%, and has also changed the withdrawal interval from 4 hours to 1.

This most often happens due to an imbalance between buyers and sellers during a sharp increase in the coin's price. This week, such a surprise was delivered by #RIVERUSDT 😭

Therefore, before opening a position, you can go to the futures tab, click on the coin name (top left), and in the opened list of available coins, sort them by funding from the most negative (shorts pay longs) to the most positive (longs pay shorts). Look at the screenshot if something is unclear.

Currently, the maximum funding for short sellers on the coin is #lptusdt (again, see the screenshot).

Maybe I'm stating the obvious now. But what if someone didn't know and hasn't used it ☺️

Today I managed to get out of a 55% drawdown thanks to searching for new solutions and changing strategies.

I am very tired, working with old schemes, the market has changed significantly since 11.10.25 💩

The main loss, by the way, was incurred on a single short #RİVER , opened with a small volume. If it weren't for the huge funding, I would have calmly waited and exited in profit.

It's bad that the exchange can mess things up on any coin at any moment.

So, in the first screenshot, some positive trades: profit on gold (I wrote in the morning that a correction was due), in the other two screenshots - positive funding already in my favor, although the profit on these coins is not large.

I am not summarizing the results yet, there are still open trades. I'm just recording the intermediate result.

I expect to see the greatest correction in the gold (and silver) market #PAXGUSDT + #XAUUSD

There is a high probability that capital, against the backdrop of the conflict between the USA and Iran, will shift to oil from the extremely overbought metal.

I wouldn't be surprised if the target of $4300 is reached in a couple of days from the current insane $5600-5500

Bought #FRAXUSDT for $1000.

1. It is already at rock bottom, with a capitalization of about 100 million.

I couldn't sleep last night, actively trading during the Asian session. I won't be entering for another round for a day.

So, a good result, about 30% in two days (+$135). I exited with minimal profit from #PAXGUSDT , it wasn't the best entry point. And non-market quotes are not uncommon here. The difference with gold on other exchanges was $30, and as you can understand, it's not in my favor.

These fluctuations and swings in crypto are rather annoying with their randomness, so it's safer to be less involved in trades.
