From a personal perspective, Plasma offers a rather different feeling compared to most current blockchains.

The first impression I had of Plasma was the way the project chose the problem to solve. Plasma does not try to become a "blockchain for everything," but focuses very clearly on payments, especially stablecoin payments and large value transactions. This approach makes Plasma seem more practical, not chasing the DeFi trend or memes like many other ecosystems.
