The argument favoring on-chain funds is quite clear-cut. Investment vehicles like ETFs, hedge funds, and mutual funds are already mainstays in the financial world. Furthermore, every financial asset class is in the process of migrating to the blockchain. Ultimately, the debate is no longer about whether this shift will happen, but rather which on-chain funds will lead the way in adoption.
While 8.3B RSR was unlocked in 2025, only about 855M actually entered circulation in the end, representing a โ1.5% expansion to the circulating supply.
Because there is no need for additional RSR in the near term, and since conversations are underway to explore potential improvements to how RSR is unlocked and allocated, Confusion Capital is pausing all RSR unlocking until further notice.
