Our V2 launchpad introduced the concept of curated launches. While testing this model proved worthwhile, it also presented significant challenges. After observing the system in practice, we have decided to move away from it for three main reasons:
1. **Limited Distribution and lacking velocity:** We aimed to provide BID with more utility by token-gating the ecosystem, but we inadvertently limited our own growth. Curated launches required heavy coordination, which slowed operations down. Additionally, while fixed-price sales and vesting in the Decaying Exit Tax model aided in quality control and chart protection, they also reduced speed, volume, value discovery, and capital rotation.
2. **Poor agent liquidity mechanisms:** Although the 3% sell tax offers a scalable business model for agent developers and CreatorBid, it does not successfully attract third-party liquidity. This results in thin liquidity, which limits trading activity.
3. **Short-term value of BID:** The utility of BID was sporadic and primarily tied to announcements regarding curated launches. Outside of staking, there were no continuous or strong reasons to hold the token.
Ultimately, BID never reflected the true value of the ecosystem, as it only priced in upcoming launches.
We can promise one thing: We will make BID great again.
In the Web3 ecosystem, stagnation is fatal; failing to adapt ensures a slow fade into obscurity. We have witnessed this outcome far too often, and it is a risk we are simply unwilling to take.
For the past several months, we have been quietly engineering our V3 (a placeholder title). This is not merely an update, but a completely new product featuring:
- A brand-new website hosted on a new domain - Fully redesigned tokenomics - A novel incentive structure
Furthermore, we are dedicating significant resources toward:
1. Enhancing the intrinsic value of BID 2. Optimizing how contributors are rewarded 3. Accelerating launch speeds and improving overall liquidity
Rather than complicating V2 by stacking additional features onto an existing framework—making it harder to use and understand—we chose to step back and rebuild from the foundation up. The resulting V3 is simpler, cleaner, and far more compelling.

As the V3 launch draws near, we strongly advise withdrawing your BID tokens from the current vaults, keeping in mind that the unlocking period is 2 weeks.
The V3 framework will operate on entirely new smart contracts (with the audit expected to be completed next week). Because we do not have access to the BID tokens within your vaults, you must unlock your BID personally so the assets are ready to be deposited once the new platform goes live.
We understand this requires manual effort on your part; however, if we had the ability to move the funds ourselves, it would imply you do not have real ownership of your tokens. Since you retain full control, you are the ones who must perform this action.
This is a required step to guarantee a smooth transition, and we will continue to provide reminders until the launch date.

In 2025, we established a solid foundation that positioned us as the most TAO-friendly agentic ecosystem in the industry. We successfully launched the CreatorBid TAO Council, which now boasts over 40 members, including SN owners, agent developers, and original Bittensor stakeholders. Additionally, we aided in the establishment of several SN-powered agents within our ecosystem.
