🔥Do you know why most investors always "Chase the Peak"? Even when the hook is bent, splitting it in half or third, they still cling tightly... This is a psychological trap that almost any investor falls into.

1. I give you a position that is making $1000. If you close it, you will get 1000$ right away.
- But option 2 for you to gamble, if you continue to hold, you might receive 2000$ in profit from that position, or back to entry, you won't have a cent.

Most people here will choose to close it to secure 1000$ , right? :))) It’s not easy to let go… because anyone will fear risk when they are in profit… afraid of losing that profit! That’s why we have the "Premature Close" phenomenon.

2. But conversely… you are in a position that is down $1000.

- If you continue to hold, you may not lose anything, from down 1000$ to breakeven, sometimes even making a profit.

- But if you hold, you could go down from 1000$ to 2000$ and more…

Yet most will choose to actively hold the loss. The moment of holding a profit is strong like this is great :))) Because you are betting on recovery, hoping that you won’t lose money…

The Federal Reserve is divided over the pace of interest rate cuts, and the minutes from the latest FOMC meeting will reveal more details.

Last month, the Fed cut interest rates for the first time this year with a vote of 11-1. The only dissenter was Stephen Miran – former economic advisor to Donald Trump – who wanted a stronger cut of 0.5 points instead of 0.25 percentage points.

The big question now is whether the Fed will continue to cut further in the upcoming meetings in October and December. Out of 19 senior officials, 10 support two more cuts, while 9 want either one or no further cuts. However, the final decision rests with the Board of Governors in Washington – the group that has 7 out of 12 votes, including Chairman Jerome Powell.

Deutsche Bank economists believe the FOMC minutes will show the level of internal division. Miran wants a stronger cut and to maintain this pace in future meetings, but no one agrees. Some members like Chris Waller and Michele Bowman support cutting rates quickly to aid employment, but remain cautious.

Waller believes that the inflation impact from the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration is only temporary and will gradually decrease, bringing inflation back to the 2% target. However, many other leaders are concerned that cutting too quickly could leave inflation stuck at 3%.

➡️ In summary, the Fed is divided between two camps: one side wants to cut quickly to support the economy, while the other prefers caution to control inflation.
