1. Do Not Short in Strong Support Areas
Most common mistake:
Shorting when the price has already fallen significantly.
Solution:
Mark strong support on higher time frames (H4/D1).
If the price is near support → NO SHORT.
Wait for:
breakdown of support
or rejection + lower high.
2. Short in Premium Areas (Top of Range)
Use the concept of range / equilibrium:
Divide the last swing range:
0–50% = buying area
50–100% = selling area
Ideal short:
at 0.618 – 0.786 Fibonacci
in supply zone
at HTF resistance.
3. Wait for Confirmation, Don't Randomly Enter
At least 1 of these must appear:
Bearish engulfing
Shooting star / pin bar at the top
Lower high on M15–H1
Small break of structure down
If just "feeling overbought" → skip.
4. Small Risk, Don't Be Greedy
Golden rule:
Max risk 1–2% per trade
Small leverage (5–10x max for beginners)
SL is mandatory, don't mentally stop
Safe formula:
SL = invalidation level (above resistance / last high)
