It went from basically $0.01 to $126,000 in roughly 15 years, with multiple 50–85% drawdowns in between. If we are being honest, Bitcoin has been serving a Global Financial Crisis every 18 months for the last decade.

And yet, it keeps going.

Blocks keep getting mined. Transactions keep settling. The network doesn’t care about headlines, fear, or social media narratives.

Every cycle, critics take their victory laps during drawdowns. Bitcoin is “dead” again. Then a few months later, price rips higher and suddenly the same people go quiet while Bitcoin reminds everyone why it has been the best-performing asset since 2010.

Same movie. Different year.

Through all this, bitcoiners keep holding. Not because it’s easy, but because they understand what they own.

Volatility is the price of admission.

That said, markets can mess with your head. I have made some incredibly dumb mistakes over the years of not getting in early and failing to take profit when I should have, but that is the game.
