@TroveMarkets was building a perp DEX focused on trading exotic and illiquid assets such as collectibles on Hyperliquid

They created hype using the Hyperliquid community but later launched on Solana.

100s of KOLs promoted the project and created massive hype which is why they raised over $10M even though the target was just $2.5M

Many big CT accounts you see on your timeline were involved in this

Half of them promoted it and the other half is now exposing it

Just search $TROVE on X and you will see the entire drama.

The lower valuation of $20M helped attract attention because most people on CT focus only on numbers.

When projects were raising at $100M or $200M this looked cheap and BIG KOL presented this as next opportunity that's why people jumped in without researching whether it was actually worth it.

Then comes the TGE : A Clear 95%+ Crash To $700K Valuation 😳

The Main Problem ⇣

The team promised refunds after oversubscription but reportedly refunded only $100K and used the remaining $9.39M to build a perp DEX on Solana without active consent from participants

It's actually crazy because let's say you're putting $10K but got allocation worth $1K and now project will tell you : let us use the remaining $9K to build the project.

You'll be frustrated and so the participants are.

Lesson : This is why it is important to read all T&C before participating in any sale or buying coins you see on TL
