Huma Finance este un protocol PayFi („finanțare prin plată”) bazat pe blockchain care oferă lichiditate instantanee, pe blockchain, pentru decontarea plăților globale—proiectat în special pentru plățile transfrontaliere, finanțarea comerțului, decontarea cu carduri de credit și alte cazuri de utilizare a plăților. Fondat în 2022 de Richard Liu și Erbil Karaman—veterani de la Google, Lyft, Facebook și EarnIn—firma a strâns aproximativ 46 de milioane de dolari în runde de finanțare seed și Serie A, conduse de investitori precum Circle Ventures, Stellar Development Foundation, Galaxy Digital și Distributed Global.

Huma operează două produse de finanțare paralele: Huma Institutional, un serviciu orientat spre conformitate, permis, adaptat pentru investitorii instituționali care necesită KYC/KYB, și Huma 2.0 (fără permisiune), lansat în aprilie 2025, care deschide furnizarea de lichiditate pentru utilizatorii de retail în două moduri—Classic (randamente stabile) și Maxi (recompense mai mari în token HUMA cu opțiuni de blocare). Furnizorii de lichiditate câștigă randamente reale prin finanțarea decontărilor la aproximativ 6–10 puncte de bază pe zi, cu o rotație rapidă a capitalului care permite APY-uri cu două cifre.
