Elon Musk a devenit prima persoană din istorie care valorează mai mult de 800 miliarde de dolari după ce compania sa de rachete, SpaceX, a achiziționat firma sa de inteligență artificială și rețele sociale, xAI.
Potrivit Forbes, afacerea evaluează compania combinată la 1,25 trilioane de dolari și a crescut averea lui Musk cu 84 miliarde de dolari, ducându-i valoarea netă la un record de 852 miliarde de dolari.
Înainte de fuziune, Musk deținea aproximativ 42% din SpaceX și 49% din xAI. După afacere, se estimează că va deține o participație de 43% în compania combinată SpaceX–xAI, evaluată la aproximativ 542 miliarde de dolari, făcând-o cel mai valoros activ al său.
