When people start with cryptocurrency, they often focus on buying and selling coins (spot trading).
Over time, many look for ways to put their idle assets to work without actively trading.
That’s where *passive investing comes in*.
Two popular passive strategies are *staking* and *yield farming*, but they work differently:
👉Staking involves locking your assets to support a blockchain’s Proof of Stake (PoS) network. In return, you earn predictable rewards with relatively low effort and risk.
👉Yield farming involves supplying assets to liquidity pools or lending protocols to earn rewards. While it can offer higher returns, it usually requires active management and carries higher complexity and risk.
