“I’m up this year” isn’t P&L. Sorry. Realized P&L only happens when you sell, swap, or exit a token.
Realized P&L = proceeds - (cost basis + fees). It sounds easy enough. But, if any of those inputs are wrong, the P&L is wrong...and cost basis in crypto is notoriously tough to track. But first, what's considered an exit?
Disposal [read: exit] events include: 👉Sell to fiat 👉Swap tokens 👉Spend crypto 👉DeFi position changes that function like exchanges Unrealized P&L is just price movement on what you still hold...it can disappear tomorrow. Realized P&L is what you actually locked in.
Example: $ETH goes up 50%, but you don't sell. Your unrealized P&L is up. Your realized P&L is still $0. Now add the crypto reality: bridges, wraps, LPs, and rewards. If those are misclassified or overlooked, “realized P&L” becomes inaccurate.
This is why accountants ask for a transaction ledger, not screenshots. They need lots, proceeds, basis, and fees that reconcile. Until now, crypto has lacked good solutions. Crawling through blockchain explorers and manually tracking has been the best option out there.
Until now. @CryptofolioApp tracks both current portfolio and historical positions to ensure cost basis accuracy. No manual spreadsheets. No fat fingers. Just a clean and easy csv export, mapped by accountants for accountants.

FUN- a high-risk asset. The casino niche in the crypt has not yet taken off, and competition with traditional platforms is fierce. The technology is interesting (honesty + speed), but the choice of games is still modest. They depend on the massive adoption of blockchain in gambling and the growing popularity of the platform itself. Progress is slow so far. $FUN Staking APY: 79.01%
