What is funding rate?
A small fee you pay (or receive) every 8 hours when holding a leveraged futures position.

Think of it like rent for borrowing money to trade.

Simple example:
You have a $1,000 $BTC long.
Funding rate is 0.1%.

Every 8 hours: You pay $1
Per day: $3
Per month: $90

With 10x leverage:
You put in $100.
Control $1,000 position.
Still pay $1 every 8 hours.

But $1 from your $100 = 1% every 8 hours.
That's 3% daily.
90% monthly of YOUR actual money.

Real example :
Bitcoin is at $60k, You open $500 position with 10x leverage (controlling $5,000).
Funding is 0.08%.

Every 8 hours: $4
Per day: $12
After 2 weeks: $168 gone

You lost a third of your money and Bitcoin didn't even move.
